Reflective Statement

Again, the audio relaxation was needed.  A hectic week took a toll on my body and mind and I found myself getting a bit crabby and sore.  I have decided to go to a holistic chiropractor who practices massage in hopes that she can get the rest of the soreness and stiffness out of my shoulder.  I plan to see her tomorrow.  In the meantime, the audio helped me "move blood" to my shoulder and lower back.

  1. Hi Carol! I'm curious to know more about a holistic chiropractor. I started seeing a naturopathic physician a few months ago and she's really helped in a way that contemporary medicine hasn't been able.

  2. Hi Carol,
I can relate to this being a hectic week. With work, school and having kids the madness just never stops. Being a holistic chiropractor what is it that they do differently ? does this mean they not only treat your back but treat you mind, body and soul?

  3. Most chiropractor's I have seen in the past do not go much further than adjustments, or simple soft tissue work. The chiropractor I now see is also a massage therapist and as she is working on soft tissue, she will stretch the area of concern and ask that I concentrate on breathing to that area. I call her "holistic" just because she is bringing the mind into the therapy while attending to full range of motion to the injury.
